Violet Ann Keeton

June 20, 2025 by

10.24.2011 – 06.16.2025
Violet, our sweet, feisty, and fiercely loyal girl, left us on June 16, just a few months shy
of her 14 th birthday. She was a constant, comforting force through life’s ups and downs.
A loving, steady presence through every chapter.

Wise and watchful, our little spicy jalapeño always knew precisely what was needed.
Protective, intuitive, and full of heart, Violet was the true leader of our family. She was
never far from her mom’s side, especially in her final days – always close, always
present. To Calvin and Bear, her two furry brothers, she was everything. They adored
her, followed her lead, and will feel her absence every day.

Violet loved puppy soccer, sprawling out in a sunny patch of grass, and treats of any
kind. But more than anything, Violet loved to be close. Her favorite place was tucked
behind the bend of a knee, curled up, safe, and home. She made every room feel
warmer just by being in it.

Violet didn’t ask for much, just to be loved and to love in return. And she did, every
single day, with a devotion that will stay with us forever.

She was the best pup. Our sissy. Our precious little peanut. Our sweet baby girl.
Thank you, Violet, for every snuggle, slobbery kiss, and for filling our hearts with more
love than we could imagine. You gave us your whole heart, and we’ll never stop missing
you.

Your beloved pet is sick

The diagnosis and subsequent prognosis aren't good. Now is the time to contemplate advanced animal hospice care or putting your pet to sleep (euthanasia). But where do you turn for help? What are the next steps? How do you make this final period of your companion’s life as peaceful as possible? Read more...
